Shahi Paneer recipe... Easy !!!

Hey Chunkies!
Today, I will be sharing the recipe of Sufi aunty ( one of the best cooks from my family ) . She hails from Bangalore as well as Kerala and she is best known for her easy yet yummy dishes. I am too glad to share one of her recipes.
I am usually not a great fan of vegetarian dishes but this recipe made me a big fan of paneer. So today, I will be sharing the easiest recipe of . . . SHAHI PANEER!
Shahi Paneer is a royal dish originated the Mughals. Shahi itself means royal or rich. Thus, this recipe is going to be rich in taste.
Okay, so without further delay let's have a look at the recipe!!!
                     SHAHI PANEER
Ingredients:
. Large onions - 200 g
. Tomatoes - 3
. Cashews - 30 g
. Oil - 50 ml
. Red chilli powder - 1 to 2 tsp
. Garam masala - 1 tsp
. Coriander powder - 2 tsp
. Jeera powder - ½ tsp
. Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
. Salt - 2 tsp
. Sugar - 2 tsp
. Kasuri methi - 1 tbsp
. Butter or ghee - 2 tbsp
. Fresh cream or cream of freshly boiled milk - 2 tbsp
Method:
1. Sauté the chopped onions, tomatoes and cashews until the onions turn golden brown with oil.
2. Let it cool.
3. Grind it well.
4. In a pan, heat butter/ghee and add in red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, Jeera powder, turmeric powder and 1 tsp of salt.
5. Now, add the ground mixture to the pan and add water to form a thick gravy-like consistency .
6. Cut the paneer into equal-sized cubes.
7. In a smaller pan, boil the paneer with sugar and 1 tsp of salt.
8. Now, drain the paneer and add it to the gravy.
9. Let it boil for 3 to 5 minutes.
10. Switch off the stove.
11. Add the cream and kasuri methi.
